The Frozen Fractals Cupcake, available now at all of Disney’s All-Star Resorts, is a blue confetti cupcake with blue buttercream frosting and a white chocolate piece featuring Elsa and the Nokk. The cupcake is $5.99.

This cupcake treat comes from a chilled pastry cooler in a blue paper wrapper.

The blue frosting has several different shades to add depth to the visual of the cupcake. On top of the frosting there are regular sprinkles, sugar sprinkles, edible glitter, and some chocolate coated rice crisps. The frosting is a classic, smooth buttercream frosting and will definitely stain your hands, teeth, and anything that comes into contact with it. Although it is messy, the buttercream frosting is delicious and is by far the best part about this cupcake.

Just like the Caramel Mousse treat in Norway’s Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe, this cupcake has a white chocolate medallion with an image of Elsa and the Nokk, a magical water spirit who we will meet in Frozen 2. The medallion adds nothing to the flavor of the cupcake, but it sure does look cute sitting on top in the frosting!

Inside, the cupcake is regular white vanilla cake with blue confetti blended throughout. The blue confetti is blue food coloring and adds no extra flavor to the cupcake. The cake itself was rather dry and bland with not much vanilla flavor. A glass of water or milk would pair well to help with the dryness.

The cupcake itself is beautiful and it attracted several “oohs” and “ahhs” from little girls passing by. It is definitely a yummy and pretty sweet treat!
