This dish has good garlic flavor, but the rice is a bit crunchy and the pork rinds taste a bit stale. The overall note of the dish is garlic. We found the pork flakes easily and falls apart. While the rich fatty parts did help with the flavor and moisture, this wasn’t our favorite of the festival. However, if you love pork belly, you’d probably be happy with this.

Shrimp & Grits – With Andouille sausage – $8.00

Shrimp & Grits – With Andouille sausage – $8.00

These Shrimp and Grits are great. They’ve got a nice texture and the grits weren’t too chunky. The shrimp was crunchy enough to feel different, and overall the taste was worth it. This was the best part of the Holiday Duets booth.

Mickey & Minnie Cookies – $7.00

Mickey and Minnie Holiday Cookies are just regular sugar cookies with nothing special about them, and while they are adorable, they aren’t worth seven dollars.

Cranberry Sangria – $11.25

Cranberry Sangria – $11.25

Moving to Holiday Duets from Favorite Things Marketplace this year, we found this sangria very light and refreshing with just the right amount of alcohol. It was fruity and a tad sweet with a hint of cranberry; perfect on a warm day. Would definitely order again given the relatively low price compared to other drinks.

Churro Toffee Cold Brew (Non-Alcoholic) – $6.50

We found the flavor of this coffee to be just like every other Joffrey’s coffee cold brew, with a hint of vanilla. It was a bit watery for my liking, but as the whipped cream got stirred in I found myself liking it more. Obviously, anything with churro toffee on top is a win. We decided we would drink this over our regular Starbucks cold brew as we wondered the parks this time of year, as it isn’t as sweet. Cold brew fans should check this drink out.

The Holiday Duets Marketplace booth is marketed as bringing you “perfect pairings, curated for your culinary delight.” Did you find any of the dishes delightful? For full menus of the other booths at the festival this year, check out our list here.
