M.I.A. Beer Company White Christmas IPA, Doral, FL (6.7% ABV) – $4.50

BeerAdvocate user jhartley says that White Christmas IPA “[has] a super light yellow turbid body, NEIPA style, with a nice amount of small bubbles in the head. [There’s a] nice amount of hops coming through in the nose… [with] spicy hops and a lingering bitterness along with a light smooth mouthfeel.”

The White Christmas IPA is one that even someone who doesn’t like IPAs could get into, with more subdued hops.

3 Daughters Brewing 70 Degree Winter Weizen, St. Petersburg, FL (5.0% ABV) – $4.50

From 3 Daughters Brewing: “Fruity, spicy and toasty, this is the perfect pairing for our mild Florida winters. Winterweizen has a grain bill that includes pilsner, wheat, rye, chocolate and roasted barley. All brewed with ginger, cloves and fermented with a traditional wheat ale yeast. With little hop flavor, this beer is not overly bitter, but very flavorful, finishing somewhat dry.

Shipyard Candy Cane Coffee Porter, Clearwater, FL (6.5% ABV) – $4.50

BeerAdvocate user Treyliff says that Candy Cane Coffee Porter “pours a deep brown color with a one-finger creamy white head that has good retention…. [The] aroma is a mix of peppermint and coffee, with undertones of chocolate. [There’s a] big blast of mint flavor up front, similar to a mint schnapps. [The] mid-palate gives some coffee notes, as well as some peppermint chocolate. The finish has a slight tang and lingers of straight peppermint schnapps. [It has a] medium-light body with moderate carbonation, [which] leads to a foamy mouthfeel and finish.”

*NEW* Anchor Brewing Christmas Ale, San Francisco, CA (6.9% ABV) – $4.50

From Anchor Brewing: “This highly anticipated seasonal delight is complex and full in flavor, packed with toasty cocoa notes, roasted malts and strong aromas of resinous pine. Our 2018 Christmas Ale has varying specialty malts, lending rich flavors of brûléed sugars, holiday spices and freshly baked banana bread with a velvety finish. The aromatics are quintessential for the holiday season: nutty candied yams and resinous pine. It pours a nice mahogany brown color with a fluffy, tan head.”

*NEW* Barrel of Monks Brewing Figgy Terno, Boca Raton, FL (7.5% ABV) – $4.50

Untappd user Scott P. says that Figgy Terno has an aroma of “dark fruit [and] sweet malt,” with tasting notes of “sweet, Belgian yeast,” while the “fig [comes] late.”

*NEW* Castle Church Brewing Here I Stand Stout, Orlando, FL (6.4% ABV) – $4.50

From Castle Church Brewing Community: “Oatmeal and dark-roast malt combine in this opaque brown ale for an unusually silky texture and complex flavor profile.”

Holiday Beer Flight 1 – $9.50
