The holidays have arrived at Disneyland Park, and truly, the greatest gift of all is churros. This year, the churro cart in Frontierland is offering a Turtle Churro, an artisan churro rolled in chocolate sugar and served with caramel pecan dipping sauce. But does this sweet, nutty churro have what it takes?
Turtle Churro – $6.25
This chocolate dusted churro was not as good as it looked. We wanted to love this with its lovely pecan sauce, but the bitter chocolate coating completely took away from the texture and taste. Why are the chocolate churros at Disneyland always a problem?
Some of our white drizzle immediately fell off.
The caramel pecan dipping sauce was good, but unfortunately it was hard to get many of the pecan bites to stick to your churro.
This one is the biggest bust on the Disneyland side of the holiday churro roll-out. Try any of the other churros in the parks (which we did enjoy).
This item is available from November 8th, 2019 through January 6th, 2020. And if you want more, you can find the complete listing of holiday treats at Disneyland Park here!
