Disney is preparing for a flood of travelers to Batuu in anticipation of the grand opening of the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction and has extended hours at various parks.
On Thursday, December 5th, Disney’s Hollywood Studios will be opening at 8:00 AM (no Extra Magic Hours announced yet) and closing at 10:00 PM. Hours at Disney’s Animal Kingdom have been extended, with the park now opening at 8:00 AM with a 7:00 AM open for Extra Magic Hour. At Epcot, the park will also be opening at 8:00 AM with a 7:00 AM open for Extra Magic Hour. Magic Kingdom will be seeing an early close at 6:00 PM due to it being a Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party night.
Will you be heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the grand opening of Rise of the Resistance or will you be taking advantage of lower crowds and extended hours at the other parks? Let us know in the comments!
May the Force be with Mickey if this ride has the uptime of Rocket Rods and the animation sophistication of the Yeti on Expedition Everest.
Yea. The ride could be good. Or another over blown meh great movie ride like attraction. I would be very concerned that with under two weeks left no employee testing has occurred.
These were the hours through at least October …. with Star Wars Galaxy Edge opening at 6am via Xtra Magic Hours. Isn’t Disney just reverting back to the old schedule?
Taking my 11 year old son full force 2 join the resistance! The rest of my group is going 2 the other parks.
Going middle of January. Won’t 2 rides be open at star wars
Yes they will both be open!
That’s our Hollywood Studios day, hope we won’t have trouble getting in. No intention of doing the Star Wars rides
