On January 5, 2020, the temporary Character Spot location in Innoventions West will be closing at EPCOT
Here’s where all of the characters will meet starting on January 5th:
- Mickey Mouse will greet guests in the queue area of Disney-Pixar Short Film Festival in the Imagination! pavilion
- Minnie Mouse will greet guests in the World Showcase Gazebo.
- Daisy will relocate to Future World East as a result of Minnie’s move.
- Goofy will greet guests in the Main Entrance near Spaceship Earth.
Joy will be meeting guests in the Imagination! pavilion, near Wreck-it Ralph in the ImageWorks area, which is currently under construction to install Joy’s new backdrop and greeting area. The ImageWorks stations that are being demolished to accommodate for the new meet and greet will not be brought back after the completion of the expansion.
It has also been announced that Sadness and Baymax will not be available to greet guests at this time.
No Sadness? Seriously? Why would they have Joy without Sadness? They are the perfect package deal. :-(
