The holidays have come to a close, and Downtown Disney is back to its normal state. Come along and look at our most recent trip to Downtown Disney to see new graphic tees, new Dooney & Bourke bags, churro toffee. and more!
World of Disney
All the Christmas decorations have been taken down. The main area where the Christmas merchandise was located has been replaced.
Goodbye, Christmas wreaths!
The Mickey Mouse area is back and better than ever.
Graphic Tees
Our favorite interplanetary DJ is ready to party all night — but recharge all day. This DJ Rex tee is $24.99.
The colors on this t-shirt are bright and will make you stand out.
This new Disneyland “Meet Me Here” shirt is a dark orange with bold lettering.
The white letters are brought forward by the blue, green and light orange outlines.
Here’s a closer look at the fabric. This shirt is also $24.99.
This light pink shirt features Mickey taking a quick picture in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle.
Under Mickey, you can see “Disneyland Resort” in all uppercase letters.
Here’s a close-up look at the fabric. This is also $24.99.
On the right side of the store, you can find all the World of Pixar merchandise.
Jamba Juice
Jamba Juice has been under refurbishment for the past month or so, but the exterior walls remain the same.
Walkway Decorations
The neon trees are now absent from the Downtown Disney walkways, which we aren’t too upset about.
Curlsurf remains one of the most popular stores at Downtown Disney.
The Disney Dress Shop
Over at the dress shop, the new Park Life Dooney & Bourke bags have arrived.
Disney Park Life Annual Passholder Exclusive Tote by Dooney & Bourke – $298.00
The backsetting of the bag is a darker pink, with lighter portions separating the Park Life pattern. We see park icons from both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Spaceship Earth, Tower of Terror, The Tree of Life, Sleeping Beauty Castle, Carthay Circle and Grizzly Peak are just some of the icons. This version of the bag is available to annual pass holders.
There is a leather hangtag featuring the annual pass holder logo.
The inside of the bag is a pale blue color with the same pink and brown accents on the zippers and pockets.
Disney Park Life Crossbody Bag by Dooney & Bourke – $158.00
This style of the bag is the same color pattern, just smaller with a longer strap. The strap is brown, but the sides have the pink accent.
There is one small pocket across the front of the bag.
The Dooney & Bourke label is placed in the middle of the top portion of the bag.
The inside of the crossbody bag matches the others with a pale blue interior. There is one zipped pocket and one accessible pocket.
Disney Park Life Satchel by Dooney & Bourke – $268
If the crossbody is not your style, the handbag might be a fit. This bag is a little bit wider than the crossbody but not too big. Once again, we see the same pattern and coloring.
The straps start a little bit lower on the backside of this bag.
The sides have a gold hoop where you can attach items to your bag, if needed.
The front pockets have clasps, which make the pocket a little more private. You won’t have to worry about anything falling out.
Disney Park Life Tote by Dooney & Bourke – $268.00
The tote is big enough to carry all your essentials while still staying in style.
The inside is the same as the other bags. This collection is vibrant and would make a fun addition to any Dooney & Bourke collectors assortment.
The rest of the dress shop is back to its normal state, as well; Christmas decorations have been removed.
Marceline’s Confectionery
If you want those classic Disneyland treats, but don’t want to enter the park, Marceline’s Confectionery at Downtown Disney is always a good option.
There’s a wide assortment of the same treats sold inside the parks.
Valentine’s Day comes sooner every year. Any of these treats would make for a sweet gesture to your loved one.
Churro Toffee is one of my favorite options here; it’s hard to say no to it.
The toffee is coated in the classic cinnamon churro sugar we all know and love.
The neon hoops are still present in the trees on the walkways. We expect these to come down soon.
WonderGround Gallery
Things continually change over at the WonderGround Gallery. We always see new artists display their pieces here.
These pieces were recently added to the gallery. They feature different angles of the monorail overlooking The Matterhorn. Each print is $39.99.
Postcards and magnets are also available.
This is the newest attraction artwork to hit the gallery. Any Roger Rabbit lover would be happy to hang this in their home.
The artwork is done by Dave Perillo and costs $394.
When looking to purchase art of the Disney theme parks, you can select your framing and size at the touchscreen kiosks.
Pin Traders
The Pin Traders next to the monorail always has a good amount of people browsing through pins.
The new Kingdom Hearts open edition pins are available here for $12.99 each.
The Downtown Disney Live stage still had an image of Mickey in his Christmas hat.
Asian Street Eats is now open at Downtown Disney! We reviewed some of their offerings and were pleasantly surprised.
That’s all for this trip to Downtown Disney. Let us know if you’ll be rocking any of the new graphic tees, buying any of the new Dooney & Bourke bags or trying some treats from Marceline’s Confectionery.
