Downtown Disney District finally has a few new pieces of art to dress up the place. As we started our day at Disneyland Resort, we saw the new colorful images near the Downtown Disney entrance on the Disneyland Hotel side. The new banners and posters replace the yellow Mickey 90th anniversary style that celebrated his milestone birthday. Let’s see how it all looks!

The Downtown Disney LIVE! stage is flanked by banners featuring images of Mickey and Minnie.

A short walk away, we see a wider variety of Disneyland Resort characters and even attractions. The drawing style is very reminiscent of the Park Life merchandise collection.

One of the more colorful banners features BB-8 and Cinderella.

We also see Space Mountain, “it’s a small world”, and the Mark Twain Riverboat on a banner.

We’re glad Mr. Toad, Groot, and Rocket Raccoon weren’t forgotten.

Moving through this seating area, the faux ticket office shows Pirates of the Caribbean, the Incredicoaster and the Moonlier — I mean, Pizza Planet rocket.

Just a short walk away, you can also take some photos with this blue Disneyland backdrop.

Will these new banners and posters brighten up your day while walking to Disneyland?
