Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to work they go over at Disneyland. The construction walls at Snow White’s Scary Adventures have expanded, seemingly covering the entire attraction.
Earlier this month, the attraction closed for an extensive refurbishment that’s expected to last until May 2020.
In our last report, the walls had only been installed at the attraction’s entrance, with tarps covering the queue. But as construction continues, they completely cover the attraction’s exterior.
When the ride reopens, it will feature upgraded technology, including new music on a state-of-the-art sound system, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system. In addition, it will feature a new scene where Snow White wakes up from her death-like sleep and reunites with the animals of the forest.
Here, we see the walls extended to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, though the shop remains open during construction.
This sign can be found along the construction walls, reading, “By order of the Evil Queen, Snow White’s Scary Adventures is unavailable. Please enjoy other Fantasyland attractions.” Given that her death scene is the one rumored to be removed for the new scene, I’d say this is darn decent of her.

As much as I love the queue for the sake of nostalgia, I really hope they expand it and make it more ADA accessible. With a special needs/handicap family member, this queue is very difficult to navigate. Especially the turnstiles. It also seems like a waste to use the guest disabilities pass when the line is usually so short, and usually a walk on.
