REVIEW: New Fluffernutter Churro is a Peanut Butter Lover’s Dream at Disney California Adventure

Here at WDWNT (and DLNT), we’re huge churro fans––especially when they’re slathered in peanut butter and studded with chocolate chips. There’s no denying that Disneyland Resort does churros best (sorry, Walt Disney World), and they’re always keeping things different with new and innovative churro flavors. New to the churro lineup at Disney California Adventure is none other than the Fluffernutter Churro: a warm, crispy creation that’s dripping with molten peanut butter and marshmallow fluff.

We spotted the Fluffernutter Churro at Willie’s Churros on Buena Vista Street, right across from Carthay Circle.

Disney describes this churro as a “Cinnamon Sugar Churro topped with Peanut Butter Sauce, Marshmallow Sauce, and Chocolate-chips.” The massive churro will run you $6.25 and is only available while supplies last that day.

This churro was probably one of the better ones we’ve tried lately. While it was messy and did melt quickly, the peanut butter and marshmallow combo was delicious.

The peanut butter sauce was creamy, and not too thick. Even people who aren’t huge fans of marshmallow will probably enjoy this treat as the marshmallow sauce was also light, and not too overpowering.

The churro still had the cinnamon sugar coating, which added extra sweetness and a slight crunch. The chocolate chips added even more texture to the treat and gave it that extra chocolatey kick.

If you’re a chocolate and peanut butter fan, you’ll definitely enjoy this, and the toppings make the churro far more filling, so you get more bang for your buck. Definitely swing by Willie’s Churro and pick up a Fluffernutter Churro while they last!
