Mark your calendars now. Purple Day Every Day has just announced that their annual event for Epilepsy Awareness will be March 1, 2020.
The event is in its third year and will feature morning activities, as well as a free afternoon Epilepsy Expo — all held at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. The day will close with an evening at EPCOT where Spaceship Earth will illuminate in purple lights to raise awareness for epilepsy.
The event is sponsored by the Anita Kaufmann Foundation & Epilepsy Association, whose mission is to educate the public not to fear epilepsy or brain trauma. Learn more about the event by visiting purpledayeveryday.org or by contacting debra@akfus.org.

It’s about time there’s a company that knowtices epileptics exist. And not all epileptics are disfunctional. Maybe other companies will notice what Walt Disney is doing and follow them.
