An overcast day at Magic Kingdom is better than an overcast day anywhere else! There have been a lot of new things popping up here, so let’s go check them out!
Right away, we found the newest edition in the Rose Gold ear line. This one seems to be replacing the current Briar Rose Gold ears, as all of those were removed from the park overnight, and replaced with these. They are similar to the 2020 ears in construction, with chunky glitter for the ears and a fabric bow.
If ears aren’t your thing, a new popcorn bucket might catch your eye. This one features Minnie Mouse in classic black and white from “Steamboat Willie”. The film strip strap is our favorite part!
In Tomorrowland, there are now not just two, not three, but four large scrims by Tomorrowland Terrace. These scrims sadly block a lot of light at the Instagram-famous Purple Wall, but don’t worry, you can still take a picture for the ‘gram there, the wall itself remains accessible.
We found several fun new sunglasses for adults in the parks. This one features the iconic Spaceship Earth pattern in holographic silver on a black background.
For our next installment of “Look Up,” we give you this fantasy edition. You will need to be brave and chivalrous to find this one.
Over at Splash Mountain, where water was returned to the lower half of the ride a few days ago, we found a few boats tucked under the bridge.
The top of the attraction remains without water for the time being, which after what we saw next, might make some sense.
Over by the Briar Patch, the exit shop for the attraction, water was pouring out of the rock facade and down over this window display. We don’t think it’s quite ready to open just yet.
On our way out of the park, we spotted this beautiful glass Enchanted Rose from “Beauty and the Beast”. The work they do in this shop is so beautiful!
Outside of the park in the construction areas surrounding the gate, there have been a few developments. This cement wall is getting a pillar on the end, and has had Tyvek wrap applied.
The cement ring to the right of the gate seems to get it’s finishing touches, and appears to match the planters in the guest area in front of the gate.
Finally, this structure that we’ve been watching the roof panels go on looks like it’s about to get its first wall.
We had a great day at Magic Kingdom, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us! Now we’re off to dance into another day with the Citizens of Main Street, USA. Have a magical day!
