Work at EPCOT’s entrance continues to progress, and today, several noticeable changes were spotted during out visit.

Work on the final segments of new pavement is starting to ramp up, as framing for one of the three sections is in place for new concrete to be poured.

The new east park entrance security structure continues to move forward. The roof now features wood paneling around it as crews were busy at the site.

Later in the day, we spotted these directional signs had been installed to the structure’s ceiling.

Over by the walkway to the bus loops, work is finally beginning on installing railing and fencing around these planters.

Inside the park entrance, framing for the new planters are ready and waiting for concrete to be poured. Work also continues inside the main planter for new utility lines.

Over at the EPCOT entrance fountain, crews were beginning the process of sealing the base sections that were recently installed.

The difference between the gaps in the segments and were they had been sealed is easily visible to anyone traveling above on the Monorail loop.

Stay tuned to WDWNT as we monitor the progress of these and other projects around the Disney parks.
