Little town, it’s a quiet village… especially when the power’s out.
This morning, the France Pavilion at EPCOT seems to be returning to its provincial roots no thanks to a pavilion-wide power outage, which has rendered its main attraction closed for the opening of World Showcase.
Currently, the Palais du Cinema is not welcoming guests for the first showings of the new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along. You’ll notice that the sign is blank due to the loss of power.
As guests enter the pavilion, they’re welcomed by a fountain that is shut off.
Various kiosks throughout the pavilion are currently closed. However, if you were hoping to get a tart or two for breakfast, there are back-up registers open at Les Halles Boulangerie. Also running on back-up registers are the stores within the pavilion, albeit with only a few emergency lights on:
Workers have been seen throughout the pavilion all morning working to restore power, but at this time, Cast Members do not have a set opening time for the pavilion’s attraction or kiosks. Nearby work on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and the pavilion’s ongoing expansion may be to blame for this outage, but no official statement has been released.
Bring back France film!!! Sing along is awful.
Impressions de france still plays there, just later in the day, plus it is also enhanced in hd now so it looks better than before
Yeah two shows a day! Give me a break.
