The 80th anniversary of “Fantasia” has Disney merchandise designers sprinkling film souvenirs throughout the Disney Parks. In the latest item from the extensive Ink and Paint merchandise collection, Mickey is on a phone case and shown as he puts on a sorcerer’s hat to become Sorcerer Mickey in the classic film.

We’ve actually seen the same pose on a new Alex and Ani bracelet at Disneyland Resort. But on this phone case, there are additional drawing details showing how Mickey was developed for his “Fantasia” role.

Here are a couple of the design guidelines on the phone case (which we think are pretty interesting): keep the crescent moon on the front of Mickey’s hat, and the robe’s  sleeves should be loose so animators can play with movement. Behind the sketches, there’s a swipe of light blue paint. She rest of the phone case is clear.

You know Mickey doesn’t come cheap! At $59.99, this is an investment in your iPhone. But it’s an Otterbox, so we’re sure it will help your phone hold up each time it falls out of your art bag, car, purse, pocket, etc.

We found iPhone 11 Pro Max phone case the Fantasia/Ink and Paint collection phone case at MouseGear in EPCOT.

Would you sport Mickey on your iPhone?
