Work to renovate the Transportation and Ticket Center continues to make headway this week. Today, we stopped by to see the latest progress.

Guests arriving from the Magic Kingdom parking lot are still greeted by a large construction wall by the tunnel underneath Seven Seas Drive. Repaving of the roadway under here is progressing and will no doubt shift to the left side once it is finished.

Work on the paving and landscaping on the other side of Seven Seas Drive is also visible from the EPCOT Monorail line.

Work on the retaining wall that will separate the driveway from the walking path under the bridge is complete, with several drainage lines in place.

Work on the repaving of the walkway over in front of the gift shop continues with new rebar and wood framing in place. The planter here is also getting a sprucing up.

Sections of the new security screening area are now being used regularly for guests.

The new tram drop-off and pickup area is finished, with railing in place for guests.

Work on the remaining pavement and planters here has much further to go, however, before the area can be used by guests.
