It’s our favorite time of the year again at Disney California Adventure park… Food & Wine time! When menus were released last week, our mouths were already watering staring at all of the new dishes for this year. Specifically for Nuts About Cheese, we’re seeing two items have arrived at the booth: an Impossible cheeseburger mac and cheese, and an alcoholic lemonade, so let’s dive in!

Fiscalini White Cheddar Lager Soup served in a Mini Boudin® Sourdough Bowl – $6.75

This soup is so good. The soup is incredibly thick, creamy, and basically tastes like straight up melted cheese.

The only issue is that the bowl itself isn’t deep. It’s deceptive in that it looks like you’d get a lot of soup, but you don’t. That’s our only complaint, really… but we would still get it again.

*NEW* Impossible™ Cheeseburger Mac & Cheese (Vegetarian) – $8.00

This vegetarian mac & cheese is topped with Impossible meat crumbles made from plants, a special burger sauce and breadcrumbs, but the flavor is just alright. At $8.50, this dish is not worth the price. The sauce tastes similar to the cheese you’d get on a McDonalds cheeseburger.

The dish was very savory, but also very dense. The pasta was good and was cooked well, but had a little bit of an odd cheesy taste to it. The Impossible meat was almost unnoticeable, but the bread crumbs added some much-needed texture. Overall, it was alright, but not worth the price. 

*NEW* Oikos® Greek Yogurt Banoffee Tart – $6.25

*NEW* Honey Bourbon Lemonade (Alcoholic) – $13.00

This pre-mixed nightmare was very syrupy, with a strong honey flavor.

While the lemonade does help by adding some freshness, it surely doesn’t do enough to help this unremarkable concoction.

The presentation is great and it makes for some cute photos, but we will not be buying it again.
