Due to extended closures at Disneyland Paris given concerns over the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic currently sweeping Europe, numerous special events have been cancelled at the resort, starting with the Princess Run that was set to take place in early May, and now, the Marvel Season of Super Heroes as well.
🚨Breaking – #DisneylandParis officially announces that, as the result of the #COVID_19 pandemic and in line with government measures, DLP will remain closed until further notice.

Marvel Season of Super Heroes, an annual event, was set to take place from March 28 through June 7th. Guests could meet a full lineup of Marvel heroes, including Captain Marvel and Groot, enjoy a series of interactive shows, shop exclusive new Marvel merchandise, and even snack on Marvel-themed specialty foods and beverages. Given that the park is now closed “until further notice”, it seems Disneyland Paris is scrapping the event as a whole this year.
While the US Disney Parks are currently eyeing a potential June 1st opening, it is still unknown when any of the parks will reopen given the ever-changing status of the ongoing pandemic.
We have been closely following the impact of the pandemic across Disneyland Paris. Yesterday, official details were released regarding cast member payments and benefits during the park closures. Stay safe, and stay tuned to WDWNT for regular updates on the progressing situation.
