Work on the ongoing refreshing of EPCOT’s entrance experience has seen several notable changes this week. Today, we took a look at the latest updates.
As guests approach the park entrance from the east side of the parking lots, construction walls that once bordered the walkway have now been pushed further back to reveal the new planter borders.
This metal swing gate has been installed at the end of the east parking tram loop drop-off and pick-up area.
These planters are nearing completion as the smell of fresh mulch fills the air.
Additional planters in the area are finished, as is the concrete that was being poured in the area.
The new east security screening structure is nearing completion, with finishing touches being added by workers.
Inside the park, work on the new planters for the park’s revamped entrance courtyard continue to be shaped. One planter has been poured while others have numerous frames in place.
From above, we can see where more framing is being placed.
Work on sealing the base sections of the new entrance fountain continues to crawl forward.
