Today, we stopped by Disney’s Wilderness Lodge to check on the status of the current refurbishments taking place. Let’s see how things are looking!

As soon as you enter the lobby, you’re greeted with some black curtains covering the walkways of the 5th and 6th floors.

While these are far from the worst options we’ve seen for construction cover-ups, they certainly do detract from some of the beauty of this stunning lobby.

Behind this construction wall on the 5th floor, we were able to see some doors being painted with a fresh coat of brown paint.

While the doors were off being painted, we can get a glimpse into these empty guest rooms.

On the 6th floor, there wasn’t much to see from our vantage point, besides lots of dust on the floor. Luckily, though, there was no construction noise polluting the air while we were there today.

We’re looking forward to seeing the final designs of these guest rooms behind the curtains. Recently, we were able to take a peek inside one of the Club Level King test rooms.
