The menu for Jardin de Fiestas is a brand new crop this year at the 2020 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. With items like chilaquiles, quesadillas, and tortas, and not one but two margaritas, it’s a fiesta of food at the Mexico pavilion! And where there’s a fiesta, you know we have to be there!

*NEW* Chilaquiles de Pollo: Chipotle-braised Chicken and Tortillas served with Salsa Ranchera, Monterey Jack Cheese, Crema Mexicana and Guajillo Cheese – $7.00
A majority of our group enjoyed this quite a bit. For the price point, this was definitely the best value at this booth.
The ingredients all worked well together and created a robust flavor profile.
The chicken had the perfect amount of spice, while the cheese was smooth and creamy.
It’s a perfectly satisfying dish.
*NEW* Quesadilla al Pastor: Flour Tortilla filled with Monterey Jack Cheese and Pork Pastor topped with Grilled Pineapple, Salsa Verde, Red Onion and Cilantro – $7.50
The quesadilla tasted great and we enjoyed it, but it needed significantly more filling.
The pineapple was a nice touch and added a gentle sweetness to the dish.
Overall, however, this was not worth the price we paid.
*NEW* Choriqueso Torta: Bolillo Roll filled with Chorizo and Monterey Jack Cheese, Avocado Mousse and Jalapeños – $7.00
The bun was stale and brought the overall experience of this dish down.
However, the taste of the meat was tender and well-seasoned.
The spice level was moderate and added great flavor, while the avocado mousse added a nice creaminess.
Unfortunately, the parts seem to work better than the whole with this one.
*NEW* Cruz Blanca Rosé Spritz: Effervescent Rosé Wheat Ale with Elderflower Liqueur – $7.00
The Rosé Spritz name is a bit deceiving. We expected something fruity, but it definitely tastes like a beer.
It has a strong taste and, frankly, wasn’t very appealing. I don’t think anybody in our group really liked this one. It’s basic and forgettable.
*NEW* Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita: Spicy Ancho Verde Liqueur, 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, Mango-Passion Fruit Purée, Lime Juice, Applejack and Ginger Cordial served with a Tajin Chili-Lime Salt Rim – $11.75
This was our favorite of all the beverages at this Outdoor Kitchen.
It had a strong fruity taste, but it wasn’t overly sweet. The Tajin on the rim was the perfect compliment to the mango-flavored margarita.
This is one delicious drink that we highly recommend.
*NEW* Rosita Margarita: Rose Petal Liqueur, 100% Agave Tequila Blanco, Lemon and Cranberry Juices served with a Rose Petal Salt Rim – $12.75
The Rosita Margarita had an interesting taste, but nobody seemed to really be drawn to it. We tried it and it just kind of sat there while everyone wanted the Mango Mexican Lucky Margarita.
The rose flavor was slightly floral without being perfume-y.
The pink color of the margarita and the rose petal salt rim make this drink pretty, but that’s about it.
