PHOTOS: New Hello Kitty Face Masks Debut at Universal Orlando Resort

At this rate, we’ll have a Universal Studios mask for every day of the week! Hot on the heels of the release of new Universal Studios Florida 30th Anniversary face masks, Hello Kitty has debuted a face covering of her own, and it’s the perfect way to stay cute and protected.

With the reopening of Universal Orlando Resort last week came the return of socially-distanced Hello Kitty meet-and-greets, and of course, the Hello Kitty Store. Face masks are required throughout the resort’s theme parks and hotels, so Universal reopened its doors prepared, with a small collection of face masks designs including a Universal Studios logo mask, a “Love is Universal” Pride month mask, and even a special mask for UOAPs, or Universal Orlando Annual Passholders available for purchase.

Now, it seems Hello Kitty has joined in on the fun with a patterned mask. The mask features black ear loops and lining with a ticket stub design on the front. The mask features a few pops of red with the Hello Kitty logo on one of the stubs, plus Kitty’s iconic red bow.

You can find these masks at the Hello Kitty Store and Universal Studios Store at the front of Universal Studios Florida, plus the Islands of Adventure Trading Company for $6 each. Masks come in sizes Medium and Large. There’s also a special on masks, where if you buy three, you can get them for just $15. At this time, face masks are not available for purchase online via The Universal Store.

Team Members have informed us that even more Sanrio-themed face masks will be arriving at the Hello Kitty Store soon, and we can’t wait to see them––and sport them––around the parks.
