In their most recent update, Walt Disney World has announced that they will be waiving Disney-imposed change and cancellation fees up to the date of check-in for reservations with arrivals through October 3, 2020.

Previously, the waiving of these fees was only for the duration of the shutdown of Walt Disney World, but with select resorts opening on June 22, Disney has decided to extend the risk-free cancellation period.

As a reminder, Walt Disney World has paused bookings as they work to reopen their resort hotels and theme parks in the coming weeks.
