Disneyland Paris is reportedly considering temporarily closing Walt Disney Studios Park over concerns of short staffing and low attendance, according to sources. An internal meeting has been allegedly been set up to discuss the closure.

The resort, despite a successful initial opening last month, has suffered from low attendance in recent weeks. Consequently, if the Walt Disney Studios Park were to temporarily close, its Cast Members would be transferred to Disneyland Park. Construction on Avengers Campus and other projects would reportedly continue throughout the closure, thanks to the lack of guests.

The closure was reportedly considered as part of the initial reopening plans, and could be decided on as early as September, with the closure taking place at the end of the year.

Resort hotels have already delayed their openings. The Disneyland Hotel is scheduled to reopen in December, with other hotels set to open in 2021.
