Disneyland Resort Introduces Shopping Reservation System for Limited Edition 65th Anniversary Pins; Reservations Open Now

The Disneyland Resort has introduced at shopping reservation system for items expected to be in high demand.

From the official Disneyland Resort website:

Make a shopping reservation and join us for a wonderful opportunity to purchase some favorite Disneyland Resort Featured Products!

Select a shopping window to visit the former ESPN Zone in the Downtown Disney District to check out some new and exciting Disneyland Resort merchandise.

Additional merchandise outside the Featured Products may be available. The products will be available for a specified time period before other merchandise is offered, so you’ll want to check back here often to see what’s new.

They also included some fine print explaining how the purchase process will work:

  • Check-in
    • Please arrive during the reservation time at the check-in location at Downtown Disney ESPN Zone.

      Be prepared to present reservation confirmation, photo ID, and the credit card provided at the time of booking the reservation.

      Limit one Guest per reservation, and entry to the venue is limited to the Guest with the reservation only.
  • Cancellation
    • A valid accepted credit card number is required at the time of booking a reservation. You must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to avoid a cancellation fee. If you fail to timely cancel and are a no show, the credit card provided at the time of reservation will be charged $10.00 per reservation.
  • Parking
  • General
    • Late arrivals may not be accommodated. Early arrivals will be asked to return within the reservation shopping window.

      Photo ID Required.

      Reservations subject to availability.

      Walk-ins not allowed.
  • Merchandise
    • Merchandise may be limited and is available while supplies last. Product availability is not guaranteed. Purchases limited to 2 (two) per style per reservation.

      Availability of product and product selection may differ based on reservation period selected.

      Reservations are non-transferrable and may not be sold or bartered.

      All prices, products, information, processes and offerings are subject to restrictions and change or cancellation without notice.

The system will debut with a series of limited edition pins commemorating Disneyland’s 65th anniversary, all featuring beloved attractions from the park’s early days.

The pins all have an edition size of 2,000 with a limit of 2 per style per guest, and retail for $17.99 each. Reservation days are August 31, September 1, and September 2, 2020, and reservation windows can be booked by clicking this link.
