Good morning from the Most Magical Place on Earth, Magic Kingdom! It was another sweltering day today, but a little heat couldn’t keep us down, not when there’s a Disney park to explore! Let’s get started.

While we enjoy going to the other parks, we appreciate the honesty and routine we find here at the parking lot of Magic Kingdom. The Cast Members tell us exactly when to return to line up, and are correct, down to the minute! We were first in line this morning!

Inside the park, City Hall has had this painted scrim facade up since before the closure, but today we could hear work being done behind it. Hopefully, the refurbished building will be revealed soon!

Several attractions were closed permanently after the parks temporary closure for the COVID-19 Pandemic. One such attraction was Stitch’s Great Escape, although it had been “Temporarily Unavailable” since 2018 with the location being used as a meet and greet for Stitch. Recently, the signage was removed from the park, and today, we got a good look of all that remains. For more pictures and information, see our article here.

With the makeover of Cinderella Castle complete, only one thing remained—to fill in the moat.

The dam on the East side was removed, while the West side dam remains partially in place.

We found some fun new merch today while perusing the park. This retro hat featuring park icons for all four parks was quite a sight to behold.

We also found these fun Villains leggings at Fantasy Faire. With all the Halloween merch coming out soon, we are loving all the Villains themed things popping up everywhere.

The Jungle Cruise Wishables blind pack and stand alone plush debuted in the park today, to everyone’s surprise. They recently went on sale on shopDisney, and while there is usually a good deal of time in between the online and in park release, this time there was not.

Wait times today stayed fairly low all day, for the most part. Space Mountain mid morning was at 10 minutes, although this long line of people joined the queue as we took the picture, so the time may have gone up by a few minutes afterwards.

By midday, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train was at 35 minutes, and the line wrapped just around the corner of the attraction.

Splash Mountain, one of the most popular rides since the park reopened, was a 35 minute wait at midday, also peak time for a good water ride to cool off.

On our way out we spotted this ray of sunshine in the form of a rainbow Mickey umbrella. We love the use of the clear vinyl and negative space to show the “hidden Mickey.”

We got to wave goodbye to some of our favorite princesses as they went by on the Royal Princess Processional. We had a great day at the Magic Kingdom, and we hope you enjoyed coming along with us. Have a magical day!
