It’s been a while since we checked in on the construction site for the upcoming “Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser” hotel, but in a series of photos shared on Twitter by our friend @bioreconstruct, we can get an aerial overview of the site and see what progress has been made over the summer.

These first images clearly show the new berm that has been constructed, which will connect the main entrance of the hotel to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Looking closely at the main building to the hotel, we can see the rooms (or “cabins”) to the Starcruiser are to the back of the building, seen above in the left of the image. It may look closed-in and boxy, but each room will be equipped with screen “windows”, projecting truly immersive views of space as guests zoom by in the Starcruiser.

At the front of the building, we can see the terminal, where guests will board the Starcruiser and be transported off into space. Tall trees are set to be planted behind this area to obscure the show building from view, so as not to ruin the immersive nature of the experience.

It is good to see that a lot of progress has been made since our last construction update. For a mapped-out look at the proposed interior layout of the Galactic Starcruiser, look here.
