Ask any hipster how music should be listened to and they’ll tell you that This Is The Way — on vinyl. And now you can listen to every dulcet tone of Ludwig Göransson’s Emmy-nominated score to “The Mandalorian” Season One on vinyl. The beautiful new boxset comes from Mondo, in conjunction with Walt Disney Records. It features eight vinyl records — one for each episode of the first season. Each record has its own slipcase with cover art by Paul Mann, whose style is sure to evoke memories of the great illustrated posters from the 1970’s, including those done for Star Wars by master poster artist Drew Struzan. All eight records fit within the larger slipcase featuring the signet of the Mudhorn on a field of beskar. Take a look at the awesome cover images and tracklists below.
The set will be up for presale on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 12 p.m., CST. The set is $200, limited to 3,500 units total, and is expected to ship in November. You can preorder “The Mandalorian” Vinyl Boxset on the Mondo Shop website.
