Maybe you can’t replace your wisecracking Skipper while riding the Jungle Cruise at Disneyland, but you can pretend to do so on your next game night. Pick up your copy of the Disney Parks edition of the Jungle Cruise Adventure Game to experience the attraction at home.
The box art alone transports you to the rivers of the famous attraction. Imagine cruising down the Mekong River, the African Congo, the Nile River, and the Amazon. And all of this in 45-60 minutes, and in the comfort of your air-conditioned home!
Ravensburger created the game and released the first version on June 1st, 2020. The new Disney Parks edition features special cards and game pieces not available in the original version. Currently, the Disney Parks editions are being sold at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Still, the overall game-play is the same.
You are a Skipper working for Alberta Falls, who announces that the families aboard your boat are caretakers of the company. Your job is to deliver them safely to shore, as one of them may be your new boss. Naturally, you’ll find many hilarious troubles as you navigate the rivers.
The contents are displayed on the back of the box. The pieces are artistic and well-designed, capturing the feeling that you’re hosting a family through the jungles. The artwork closely resembles the attraction at Disneyland.
Here’s a little peek inside…
The cards and dice look amazing.
And the boats.
We discovered this gem at World of Disney in the Downtown Disney District. The Disney Parks edition of the Jungle Cruise Adventure Game retails for $44.95, a small price to pay for an amazing game night filled with laughter.
