PHOTOS: New Figment Shoulder Plush Brings a Spark of Imagination to EPCOT
Last weekend, a Figment shoulder plush was accidentally released early in EPCOT. He was only out on the shelves for a brief time before Cast Members removed all traces of his existence, but did let Guests know that the official release of the plush would be August 8th.
Yet, it seems that Figment must have snuck out without Dr. Nigel Channing noticing because while shopping in Mouse Gear today, we found Figment again!
Fans of the beloved Journey into Imagination attraction in EPCOT are sure to want their own little purple dragon floating over their shoulder as they make important sensory discoveries, and now, with this new plush, that dream comes to a reality.
Figment is wearing his cute yellow t-shirt which spells out his name in bold red, and is looking like he’s midway through singing “One Little Spark”.
This adorable dragon plush comes with a felt-covered metal pad, which can be subtly placed under your shirt, for Figment to magnetically sit atop.
Shoulder plushes are becoming increasingly desirable across Walt Disney World, with “Star Wars” Porgs, Mushu from “Mulan”, Bruni from “Frozen 2” and Baby Groot from “Guardians of the Galaxy” all re-imagined as cute little magnetic pets. Most recently, we found this sweet Baby Yoda plush too, to add to our growing collection.
We found Figment over in Mouse Gear at EPCOT, and he costs $19.99. Again, the official release date for this plush is August 8th, 2020, but we recommend checking Mouse Gear often as Figment seems to be appearing intermittently.
