REVIEW: Red Velvet and White Chocolate Cake Pop is a Bloody Good Treat from the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store at Universal Studios Florida

We’ve been dying for a little bit of Halloween Horror Nights, and Universal Studios Florida is now serving up a variety of spooktacular snacks to help us celebrate our favorite season. The Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store is now offering Red Velvet and White Chocolate Cake Pops, and when we set our eyes on these treats, they set their eyes on us, too.

This blood-splattered cake pop is a simple, but creative offering, complete with a giant gummy eyeball in the center. Nothing says Halloween like a random eyeball in your food, right?

It really looks gory, and we love every bit of it.

The outside is a white chocolate gelee type of layer, with a slight jiggle that adds another creepy factor.

Inside, you’ll find a dense, red velvet cake, an appropriate color for this pop. The cake has a nice flavor and is complemented by the white chocolate shavings along the edges. This is pretty much your standard red velvet cake dessert from Universal Orlando, but the presentation made it so much better. The decorative gummy eyeball was chewy and fruity, and probably our favorite part of this entire dessert. For $5.49, you can’t go wrong with this creepy snack.

Do you have your eye on this new Red Velvet and White Chocolate Cake Pop from the Tribute Store? There are plenty of scary new options to choose from, so stay tuned to Universal Parks News Today for more reviews!
