Tokyo Disney Resort Temporarily Allowing Annual Passholders to Shop Through Official App Starting August 4

Back in June, the Tokyo Disney Resort announced with its reopening that a system would be implemented to allow Annual Passholders to buy merchandise during the limited admission period. Starting August 4th through October 31st, Passholders will be able to purchase goods through the Tokyo Disney Resort Official App… but there’s a catch.

Tokyo Disney Resort App

Here’s the deal—like the vastly complicated (and not particularly well-explained) Annual Passholder lottery, the shopping feature comes with a catch. Passholders may only shop between 7AM and 7:45AM every day. That’s right, you have exactly 45 minutes early in the morning to place your orders. Talk about the bare minimum.

Unlike when buying goods outside the parks was available to everyone during the park closure, seasonal items like Disney Pirates Summer, Tokyo Disneyland 37th Anniversary, and others will be available, as well as Duffy & Friends items! This is a huge change for Duffy items, Guests normally have to have visited Tokyo DisneySea and they aren’t sold at Bon Voyage, nor were they sold during the closure. Order numbers are limited so the system may close before 7:45 each day, and shipping is only available to addresses within Japan. Also, Guests holding a Tokyo Disneyland Annual Passport may not purchase Duffy & Friends items.
