TONIGHT: Pressing Issues – Halloween Lives On, Florida Government Is Good With Higher Park Capacities (8/30/20)

Join us at 8 PM ET for Pressing Issues as we present an in-depth discussion and analysis of the biggest stories of the week and their impact on Disney Parks, Guests, and Cast Members.

In this week’s episode, our panel discusses the announcement that Halloween decorations, along with exclusive food and drink, will be returning to Walt Disney World in a matter of weeks, despite the cancellation of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. They’ll also assess the statement by the Florida Government that the state is comfortable with increasing theme park capacities beyond their current level. Finally, the panel takes a look at the removal of Splash Mountain elements from different areas of the park experience, as well as the situation of executive salaries returning to normal while Cast Member furloughs are extended.

Hosted by Jason Diffendal, alongside a rotating panel of fellow staff members, Pressing Issues airs weekly at 8 PM ET on the WDWNT YouTube channel. If you haven’t already subscribed, click here to visit our YouTube channel and click the red “Subscribe” button.

  1. If they increase capacity further they will definitely need to expand offerings because there is no way the experience would be worth it with things the way they are and higher wait times. Even today at HS we left at 12 because of the crowds and lines.
