Universal Orlando Resort
- Check out this week’s photo report for Universal Orlando Resort, featuring new merchandise, food offerings and more
- Following the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, even more layoffs have been confirmed across the resort
- Several attractions are to temporarily close across the resort next week, and in order to better enforce social distancing during the pandemic park hours are to be reduced through August
- Guests who have visited the parks are being sent email surveys from the resort, questioning them about their experience in comparison with the Walt Disney World Resort
- Following the threat of a hurricane in Central Florida, Isaias was downgraded to a tropical storm this week, bringing the expectation of heavy wind and rain to the state
- The development has officially been delayed on Universal’s Epic Universe, until ‘the future becomes more certain’

Universal Studios Florida
- This week saw the highly-awaited opening of the Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, featuring frights, ghouls, and lots of merchandise! A store poster has also teased an additional room to come soon. The store is offering pre-orders of t-shirts in sold-out sizes, due to its high popularity
- New JAWS pressed penny machines are now terrorizing San Francisco

Universal’s Islands of Adventure
- We reviewed the outstanding Buffalo Chicken Tots from Green Eggs and Ham
- Take a look at the latest construction progress on the “Velocicoaster” over in Jurassic World
- A standby-only queue is being tested over at Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure

Volcano Bay
- According to news reports, at least 115 guests have been injured on the Punga Racers slides at the waterpark
Universal Studios Japan
- Menus with adorable “Stand By Me Doraemon 2”-inspired food offerings will be coming to Universal Studios Japan next week
- It was reported that a crew member has tested positive for COVID-19 at the resort
Universal Parks & Resorts
- Universal Parks & Resorts have suffered a 94% loss in revenue due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic

- Collect the new Universal Orlando Annual Passholder-exclusive magnet and button from the resort featuring Frank the Pug
- New Halloween Horror Nights “30 Years 30 Fears” magnets, socks and pins have arrived at Universal Studios Florida, alongside a whole range of t-shirts

- A new line of retro marquee merchandise has just arrived at Universal Studios Hollywood, featuring vintage attraction poster art and more
