During the COVID-19 pandemic, Tokyo Disneyland is running a special short greeting parade in place of its daily Dreaming Up! parade. Right now it consists of the Fab Five in their standard outfits, greeting Guests to “Tokyo Disneyland is Your Land” and “When You Wish Upon a Star”. But starting Monday, September 14th, Tokyo Disneyland will give the parade a special overlay themed to the tragically cut-short “Very Very Minnie” event held earlier this year!
From September 14th through the 30th, the Mickey and Friends Greeting Parade will roll down the parade route at Tokyo Disneyland featuring the costumes and music from the Very Very Minnie event held two years ago in January and February 2020. The event was tragically cut short by three weeks thanks to the COVID-19 extended closure.
This is an exciting step forward, and could open the door to other seasonal greeting overlays with the rest of events cancelled through March 2021. Be sure you’re subscribed to WDW News Today on our YouTube channel so you don’t miss the video next week!
