The new Mobile Dine Walk-Up Waitlist service has finally been rolled out to the My Disney Experience app! The My Disney Experience app is now equipped with a new feature that will allow guests to check wait times at restaurants throughout Walt Disney World and add parties of 7 guests or less to the walk-up waitlist, if available. Mostly resort restaurants have added this feature so far, but starting today, the service is available at select EPCOT table service restaurants.
When you go to search for dining reservations on My Disney Experience, you’re now given the “Now” option under “Search by Time”. Of course, this only works for same-day availability.
The following EPCOT restaurants are currently available:
- Biergarten Restaurant – Germany Pavilion, World Showcase
- Coral Reef Restaurant – The Seas Pavilion
- Garden Grill Restaurant – The Land Pavilion
- Le Cellier Steakhouse – Canada Pavilion, World Showcase
- Rose & Crown Dining Room – UK Pavilion, World Showcase
These restaurants show the following note: “Walk-up list is currently unavailable to join due to high demand.” If you are in the parks, it will show you the walk-up eligible restaurants near you, plus their respective wait times, if available.
Starting September 2, the service will launch at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, with the following restaurants available:
- 50’s Prime Time Café
- The Hollywood Brown Derby
- Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano
- Oga’s Cantina
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
Then on September 3, the service will become available at select Magic Kingdom restaurants:
- Be Our Guest Restaurant
- Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen
- Liberty Tree Tavern
- The Plaza Restaurant
- Tony’s Town Square
In order to facilitate social distancing and minimize unnecessary interactions at the check-in podium, parties of 7 or less can put themselves on the Walk-up list. Parties of 8 guests or more must still inquire at the podium for walk-up availability.
