‘Olu Mel, the newest friend of Duffy, has been appearing on Disney merchandise across the globe, but for the first time ever he’s appearing in person as a costumed character! ‘Olu Mel made his debut today at Shanghai Disney Resort and thanks to Disney Magical Kingdom Blog, we have pictures of the friendly-looking turtle.

‘Olu Mel is appearing as part of the “A Month with Duffy & Friends” event, which lasts from September 1st to 30th at Shanghai Disneyland.

Though ‘Olu Mel is the only friend of Duffy without a hat or clothing, he was seen carrying his ukulele.
