It’s an unusually busy morning here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We were surprised by the crowds arriving this morning, since it’s a week day, but it’s a good sight to see. We decided to head over to Universal Studios Florida first, and found black curtains added to the two structures for the now confirmed Halloween Horror Nights houses.
Now we know which houses we’ll get to experience this week, and we can hardly wait!
Inside the Tribute Store, we found new “Horror Throwbacks” shot glasses featuring Chance and the Terra Queen. These are available for $10 each, and both say “Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights Horror Throwbacks” on them.
A new Beetlejuice print is also available for $17.
If you’re an Annual Passholder, Chez Alcatraz now has a UOAP exclusive “Medjai Mule” available until September 30. This drink is inspired by the Revenge of the Mummy and combines New Amsterdam Gin, Old Forrester Bourbon, lime, agave, and Ginger Beer.
Across from Chez Alcatraz, you can find a sweet seasonal treat inside the San Francisco Candy Factory. They now have Pumpkin Pie Fudge available for $4.95 a piece, or mix and match 6 pieces for $19.95.
Even more social distancing markers have been added outside of some of the more popular food locations.
New Universal Orlando face masks have arrived at several locations around the parks.
Even though it was raining, the crew was still working on the “Velocicoaster” construction site in Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. We’ll be back again real soon, so be sure to stay tuned for all the latest updates.
