Welcome to a very exciting day here at the Universal Orlando Resort! Fall is in the air and we’re ready for a weekend full of frights. We started our day off at Universal Studios Florida, and found Halloween decorations had been added at the Universal Studios Store.
Orange and black bunting and garland were draped from the ceiling in preparation for the Halloween festivities this weekend.
Cafe La Bamba is also decorated, which means we could possibly be seeing this area used for something spooky.
The queue is in place for Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives and social distancing markers have been added.
Inside the Tribute Store, we grabbed some Beetlejuice Halloween Horror Nights candy. The sour watermelon cotton candy is $6.95 and the box of gummy eyeballs is $4.95.
Over at Islands of Adventure, we spotted the “Velocicoaster” vehicle out on the track for testing. It still has the InGen protective wrap on it as it is manually moved around the track.
Rock work detailing has begun around the new lockers being built for Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. It’s nice to know this is going to blend in better with the surroundings.
There’s some maintenance happening around the entrance of Camp Jurassic. It looks like the dinosaur on the sign is getting ready for a fresh coat of paint.
There’s also work happening on the pathway between Toon Lagoon and Jurassic Park.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort. Be sure to stay tuned for all the latest updates from Universal Parks News Today!
