Welcome to another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We’re getting ready for another busy weekend, so let’s jump right in and head over to Universal Studios Florida first.
We arrived bright and early to find a new face mask available from the Universal Studios Store at the front of the park. Classic monster meet classic marquee in this new Frankenstein’s monster face mask. They’re available in medium and large for $6 each of 4 for $20.
In anticipation of large weekend crowds, plexiglass dividers have been added between the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine closest to the haunted houses. This will allow all 3 machines to be used at once and help reduce the wait time to get a refill.
We also spotted Mel’s Drive-In and Louie’s Italian Restaurant setting up barricades around the outdoor seating areas near their restaurants. This will help open up more seating areas for guests looking to dine in the restaurants. Let’s hope we see a few more tables added around the park since finding seating is already difficult.
It appears that Team Members were training over at Kang and Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl. We can only hope that this means the attraction will open to help accommodate the crowds.
The new signing session at the Tribute Store will be on September 29 from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Over at Islands of Adventure, we find “Set Enhancement in Progress” signs and blue walls up just outside of Honk Honkers in Seuss Landing.
Over on the site on the newly announced “VelociCoaster”, we spotted some raptor eggs just along the top of the rocks.
That’s all for this visit to the Universal Orlando Resort, but be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
