Dockside Margaritas closed back in late June due to the suspension of all on-premises consumption of alcohol at bars statewide to curb the spike in COVID-19 cases across the state. Now that pandemic numbers are thankfully leveling out, restrictions are being lifted, and as of September 14, bars were given the green light to reopen at 50%. At Disney Springs, the popular margarita stand reopened this afternoon, with some modifications.
New physical distancing markers are set up leading up to the ordering windows, which are now outfitted with plexiglass barriers.
The menu remains the same for now, with a wide variety of margaritas both classic and frozen, plus additional cocktails.
Live music has been discontinued at Dockside Margaritas for now, but guests are still welcome to take a seat and enjoy the sights and sounds of Disney Springs in the meantime. Hours are currently not listed for the location online, and may vary.
One of my favorite places in all of Disney World. Sitting there with a drink looking out over the water is sublime.
Fortunately for me, it closed right after I left my trip in June.
(which by necessity was just a Disney Springs and Universal themed trip)
So glad Dockside will be open again when I go back in December.
Love this place! Can socially distance and still enjoy the view of the lake behind the bar. Dockside Margaritas you are the best, love all of your employees, God bless you all
