Construction on the new coaster in Jurassic Park has been moving quickly, even if some of the action is happening out of guest view. The track has gone up quickly and changed the appearance of Universal’s Islands of Adventure and now it looks like all pieces of track have been installed. On our recent visit, a few more pieces of track had been installed, but now the entire track is finally complete. This is an exciting moment for everyone!

Now that the track is finished, we expect to see a lot more focus on the show buildings and landscaping in the area.

We can make out stairs inside the show building, but not much else is visible aside from a few pieces of equipment.

More vented panels have been added along the enclosed section that connects the show buildings.

We can see the addition of perforated metal pieces along the top of this section, and cage-like bars are visible on the opposite side, too.

This area is really starting to look like a raptor paddock.

The raptor cage is still visible and looks a little more detailed now.

It’s an exciting time here at Islands of Adventure now that the “Velocicioaster” track is complete in Jurassic Park. After the addition of the new raptors, we’re really ready to see what happens next. Everyone is eagerly awaiting an official announcement from Universal Orlando Resort, so be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for more updates.
