PHOTOS: Play! Pavilion Roof Tile Replacement Nears Completion at EPCOT

Construction work on the roof of the future Play! Pavilion in EPCOT has been underway for several months, and it looks like almost all of the pavilion’s roof tiles have now been replaced.

Last we checked, there were still several sections of original yellow triangles still remaining on the tent-like structure.

Only a few scattered tiles remain on the roof.

A few tiles remain next to the windows at the pavilion’s entrance. We can also see wooden construction boxes.

Speaking of wooden boxes, the pallets first strapped to the roof in March are now gone.

One of the tiles remaining seems to be chipped near the upper left corner.

Another random tile is still visible above Mission Space Cargo Bay.

We can’t wait to see the final form of the Play! Pavilion, though we’re sure there’s still a long ways to go. Keep checking WDWNT for more updates about the future of EPCOT.
