As of yesterday, Universal Orlando Resort has blocked out Team Member complimentary passes on Saturdays and Sundays from September 19 through October 31.
This comes amidst rumors that Universal will be opening up two Halloween Horror Nights houses for regular guests. Though Halloween Horror Nights has been canceled, there is some evidence that houses will still open. It makes sense for Universal to then limit the number of free guests allowed in the park during this time since paying guests will fill park capacity.
Team Members are still able to get into the parks, but they will not be able to bring guests for free. This does only apply to new ticket orders. Universal will still honor the tickets of Team Members and their guests who already placed ticket orders for this time period. These blockout dates apply to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay.
Team Members can find more information about their comp pass blockout dates here.
Will you be going to Universal Studios Florida if Halloween Horror Nights houses open? Let us know in the comments.
