We visited Disney’s Animal Kingdom on a humid and cloudy day to see what was in store for us. Progress is being made on Kilimanjaro Safaris’ new goat exhibit, a new voucher booth has appeared in Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, and wait times are increasing.
Jambo!
Guests flocked to Avatar Flight of Passage in the morning to experience it before the wait times got longer.
We first stopped at Kilimanjaro Safaris to check on the construction of the upcoming goat exhibit at the end of attraction.
The exhibit includes a small building and some rockwork.
We were greeted by several giraffes as we explored the African savannah.
By 10:00am Flight of Passage had a 75 minute wait with a line stretching all the way to Festival of the Lion King.
The line looped around both sides of the pathway.
The line started on the wooden boardwalk connecting Africa to Pandora – The World of Avatar.
Na’vi River Journey had a 45 minute wait stretching close to Pandora’s entrance.
Several gift shops around the park have the new Dino-Rama Fossil Fun Games plush prizes on display to encourage guests to play the games and win them.
A booth has appeared in Chester & Hester’s Dino-Rama, where guests can purchase vouchers that allow them to play the midway games and win prizes.
At the booth is a table with hand sanitizer, a box containing the vouchers, and a cash register.
Guests waiting to buy their vouchers must stand behind this social-distancing marker.
DINOSAUR had a 25 minute wait by the afternoon.
The giant anteater was out and about in the Oasis.
