Welcome to another busy afternoon here at the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s a beautiful day, and we decided to change up our usual routine and start our day over at Islands of Adventure first.
They awning over the ticket windows has been missing, but it looks like they’re beginning to replace it. Hopefully this piece is just temporary, because it doesn’t match the others.
A plexiglass divider has been added between the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines at Chillin’ Charlie’s Lemon Slush near the front of the park. This allows both machines to be in use at the same time. There are a lot of Freestyle machines all over the park, so it would be nice to see dividers added to more of them.
If you do plan to use the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, we suggest getting the new retro souvenir tumbler.
It’s incredibly hot today, but it looks like we’re getting ready for cold weather soon. Hats, scarves, and gloves are now out on display at Islands of Adventure Trading Company.
We’re half way there! 2 out of 4 of the Jurassic Park torches are lit today.
We were excited about the torches, but then we spotted something even better over at the Jurassic World VelociCoaster. We can see one of the raptors near the track.
Another piece of netting has been added along the Jurassic World VelociCoaster track, too.
Auntie Anne’s Pretzels sounds so good right now, but we’re not about to wait in this crazy line.
Lines for food have been long all day, like every day. We won’t be having any Margherita Pizza Fries today, either.
Let’s check in on Universal Studios Florida next.
The Stolen Teeth Street Corn has returned to the Halloween Horror Nights Food Truck again. We finally found some food without a line, so it’s snack time!
We rarely see the haunted houses with high wait times. Typically, they’re only at a 5 or 10 minute wait.
The attractions, on the other hand, have had some pretty crazy wait times.
It’s a hot day, so everyone is looking for ice cream.
Candy Corn Fudge and Chocolate Candy Corn Fudge can now be found in some of the sweet shops around the park, including the San Francisco Candy Factory.
These Halloween Horror Nights leggings are on sale in the Tribute Store for just $14.99.
Our Schwab’s Pharmacy isn’t nearly as much fun as the one in Universal Studios Japan. Have you checked out our tour of the new Mario Cafe yet? Maybe this Team Member is a fan of Luigi.
Celebrate Halloween and beat the heat with this new offering from Cold Stone Creamery in CityWalk.
That about wraps up our visit to the Universal Orlando Resort for today. Thanks for joining us and be sure to stay tuned for more updates.
