According to The Wall Street Journal, a new COVID-19 testing plan could allow the United States to open travel from the United Kingdom with shortened quarantine periods before the end of the year.

With more rapid COVID-19 tests available, officials are hoping to have travelers tested before and after their flight. This means travelers could avoid the weeklong quarantines once they have arrived.

While travel would first open between London and New York, this could still see a significant return of United Kingdom guests to Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort.
