Welcome to another bright, sunny day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. The crowds have been picking up steadily throughout the week, but wait times aren’t too bad around the parks. Let’s start our morning at Universal Studios Florida.
Marge Simpson was out greeting guests this morning, which is a nice surprise.
Central Park Crepes had a line just before they opened for the day. If you’re a UOAP, don’t forget to check out the Chocolate Banana Cream Pie Crepe.
You can now grab a beer and a new face mask at the same time. We’ve noticed multiple food locations selling masks.
A lot of the unnecessary barricade queue has been taken down for the Universal Monsters: The Bride of Frankenstein Lives haunted house.
Another lovely day in Diagon Alley.
The Taxi Hut that sells jacket potatoes in London was open this afternoon.
The custom airbrush kiosk inside Custom Gear Shop is closed during the week, but we heard they’ll be open on weekends. You can still find airbrush products out in CityWalk, though.
Let’s make our way over to Islands of Adventure next.
We needed a little pick-me-up today, so we stopped into the Starbucks at Islands of Adventure to try the UOAP Candy Bar Frappuccino. It’s a caramel ribbon crunch Frappuccino with toffee nut. It’s available at the Starbucks locations at Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk through October 31.
Some new characters have arrived at the Lost Continent, just in front of Poseidon’s Fury.
The dinosaur that makes up the Camp Jurassic entrance sign is now completely painted this off-white coloring. We’re not sure if this is the final product of the refurbishment, but it looks like it might be finished.
Island Market and Export, located towards the front of Islands of Adventure, has giant holiday cookies available. There’s a pumpkin or spider web cookie and they are $10 each.
Thanks for joining us around the parks today. We’ll be back again soon so make sure you stay tuned for more updates!
