Welcome to another exciting day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. We’re ready to see what’s happening today, so let’s head over to Universal Studios Florida first.
Crowds were decent, but not overwhelming. It’s always good to see the parks busy.
Diagon Alley looks a little busier than the rest of the park, but that’s pretty typical.
Many of the restaurants in the park have started to barricade the outdoor seating areas, so they can be used exclusively for guests dining in the restaurant. Now, planters have been added along the barricades, making these areas look a little bit like a garden center.
The lines for food weren’t too terrible this afternoon, but every now and then we’d see a long line.
Just a quick stop into CityWalk for a Pepperoni Pretzel. There are Auntie Anne’s Pretzel locations inside the parks, but you need to go to CityWalk for this beauty. Add a side of cheese if you’re feeling adventurous!
Over at Islands of Adventure, we can see that Cafe 4 in Marvel Super Hero Island is getting ready for the crowds. There are now plexiglass dividers between tables, to allow for more people to be able to dine in the restaurant. Getting food around Universal can be a nightmare, so it’s nice to see these kind of adjustments made to improve the guest experience.
The dividers are also on wheels, making it easy to rearrange the tables and dining area to accommodate more people as needed.
The Lost Continent has a new character meet and greet featuring Po from “Kung Fu Panda”. He and Tigress can be found across from Fire Eater’s Grill.
Thanks for joining us today. That’s all for this visit around the parks, but be sure to keep following Universal Parks News Today for all the latest updates.
