Star Wars fans will be happy that Magic 8-Ball versions of Yoda and Darth Vader Kyber Crystals—now repackaged as “Force Guidance Crystals”—have arrived at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Anyone who has built their own lightsaber knows that kyber crystals can transform the color of your blade. But these Magic 8-Ball-style versions can do so much more when placed in a Jedi or Sith Holocron!
Yoda Force Guidance Kyber Crystal – $14.99
The packaging obviously indicates that this Force Guidance Crystal belongs to Yoda. Naturally, if you place this one in your lightsaber, it will glow green.
The face of Yoda stares at you from the container. The recognizable Aurebesh script from the Star Wars films appears at the top.
Inside, we found this green kyber crystal. Placing this crystal in a Jedi Holocron creates an interactive experience. Speak to the holocron and the voice of Yoda will respond.
It’s amazing that this little device can bring so much entertainment to Star Wars fans. Now you can buy your own Force Guidance Crystal and gain the wisdom of Yoda on your next visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. These “Magic 8-Ball” crystals have been quite rare in the past, sought after by collectors.
Just be sure to heed this warning. Don’t place this in a Sith Holocron, unless you want to toy with the Dark Side. The results could be disastrous!
Darth Vader Force Guidance Kyber Crystal – $14.99
Perhaps you favor the Dark Side. Maybe you crave power over the meek wisdom of Master Yoda. Good thing for you that Darth Vader Force Guidance Crystals are also for sale.
The iconic image of the Sith Lord graces the packaging. You can almost feel the humming power of the kyber crystal inside. At least, you can imagine it.
Taking the crystal out reveals the deep red of Darth Vader’s lightsaber. Place this crystal in your lightsaber to match the weapon’s color of the Sith Lord. Or find yourself a Sith Holocron and let Vader convince you to come over to the dark side.
Here’s an up-close look at Darth Vader’s force guidance crystal.
Just as Darth Vader was guided by his son’s pleading to return to the path of the Jedi, placing his crystal in a Jedi Holocron may have redemptive qualities. Either way, you’ll probably enjoy hours of fun with these “Magic 8-Ball” versions of Yoda and Darth Vader Kyber Crystals. You can find both of these crystals at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
